The planning and plotting of the heist remains as alluring as the first time we watched it. The intrigue doesn’t lessen but increases. Undoubtedly, my #1 show on Netflix.in as of now. The cast -

The Professor’s perfection in terms with the heist renders one spellbound. The conviction and intensity with which each character performs is exemplary and applaudable. The relationship between the characters develop beautifully alongside the ongoing heist. Viewers relate with them immensely too. Such is the intensity that tears well up in our eyes when we lose Nairobi, Moscow and Berlin, we feel immense hatred for Arturo every time he tries to jeopardise the heist and we want to kill Gandia(José Manuel Poga) when he heartlessly murders Nairobi. The connect formed in between the characters is the same connect we feel as viewers and that’s immensely rare. Each and every step of the heists ( Royal Mint of Spain, Bank of Spain) is planned to perfection and there is no stone that is left unturned.
Just like it’s connect with the audience, the series has another very rare thing happening. It’s one of the very few times that the audience sides the negative other than the positive. Here, the criminals rather than the police. The very emotion is aroused when the viewer sees the intention behind the heist is not hurting the common people. Infact, the common man is meted out with a good treatment by the criminals. However, a dark side of the police is seen all through the series. The turning point is also seen when a detective (Raquel) sides the criminals in their second heist as she draws a judgement of characters.
A very unique execution of a heist crime drama by Alex Pina. Hats off to the entire cast, crew and makers of the series.
This show is the BEST Hands down.
